About Me

As an SEN lecturer, specialising in outdoor education, wellbeing and behaviour management, I have explored and studied experiential learning and personal development for many years. 10 years ago I followed my instinct to start rural life on the Gower Peninsula.  Year-on-year I became more attuned to the land, tides, moons and seasons, discovering a deep and true connection to nature and its’ healing properties.  Along this journey I met, quite by accident, my ‘Kola’ (native American for soul-horse) – a white gelding flea-bitten Arab, I was simply blown-away! We had an immediate and soulful connection. however with no experience of horses, I was bewildered how clear it was, that this horse belonged to ME! Shortly after, I embarked on the most challenging, but profoundly rewarding chapter of my life, becoming the guardian of two beautiful horses. A very steep learning curve followed and here started my life-long connection with horses. As a ‘non-horse person’, I had to solely rely on my intuition and the horses’ guidance as to their needs, wants and choices – it gave me a perspective that differed from the text books and traditional methods-  I was able to fully learn to listen from within.

Over the next few years I experienced and observed the transformative and remarkable potential of horses. In 2020 I experienced my first Equine Facilitated workshop, and immediately knew this what what I needed to do. I qualified with LEAP as an Equine Facilitated Practitioner in 2021 becoming a professional member of the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists in 2023. I follow natural horsemanship ethos, giving voice, choice and control to all horses I work alongside.

I currently work with groups and individuals, to facilitate and inspire change, realise and overcome barriers and empower leadership from within. I am based in Gower, offering workshops in Hereford, Llandeilo and Cardiff.
